Actress Kang Seo-ha (real name Kang Ye-won) has passed away after battling cancer, and tributes are pouring in.

According to the late actress's agency, MCN Insight, Kang Seo-ha passed away on the 13th after a battle with stomach cancer. She was 31 years old. It is reported that her health deteriorated rapidly after the second round of chemotherapy.

On the 14th, the late actress's younger sibling shared on social media, "I still can't believe it. While she was enduring such great pain, she worried about those around her and about me. She hadn't eaten properly for months, yet she insisted on paying for my meals with her card. My angel left us too soon," announcing the news of her passing.

She continued, "Even while enduring with painkillers, she said she was grateful that it wasn't worse, and I felt truly ashamed. My sister has suffered so much, and I hope she is only happy and free from pain there! The gift she gave me to think of her, I gave to our grandmother! Instead, I will always carry her in my heart in my daily life. And next time, please let me be the younger sister. I will take really good care of you," touching everyone's hearts.

Actor Park Joo-hyun, a fellow student from the Korea National University of Arts, expressed her condolences on social media, saying, "May the soul of the deceased rest in peace. Ye-won... I hope you are not in pain there and keep your beautiful smile."

Netizens also commented, "It's so sad because she was so young," "May the soul of the deceased rest in peace," "I hope you can do what you want and be happy there," and "It's such heartbreaking news at such a beautiful age," mourning her passing.

Kang Seo-ha graduated from the Korea National University of Arts and debuted in 2012 with the music video for "Far Away" by the group Brave Guys, officially starting her acting career through the JTBC drama "Seonam Girls High School Investigators."

She later showcased her presence in KBS2's "Assembly," MBC's "The Flower in Prison," KBS2's "Again, First Love," "Wave, Wave," SBS's "Cardiothoracic Surgery - The Doctors Who Stole Hearts," and "Nobody Knows." Her last work was the recently completed film "Mangnae-in."
