Actress Lee Seo-yi has passed away at the age of 43.
A person claiming to be Lee Seo-yi's manager, referred to as A, announced on the deceased's SNS account on the 1st, "A brilliant, beautiful, pretty, and kind sister has become a star in heaven on June 20, 2025," sharing the obituary.
They added, "Everyone must be shocked and heartbroken by the news of her passing, but please pray that she goes to a good and beautiful place."
However, the exact cause of death has not been disclosed.
Lee Seo-yi began her acting career in 2013 with the MBC drama 'Guam Heo Jun', and her official debut work was the SBS drama 'Cheongdam-dong Scandal', which aired in 2014. She has since built her filmography with supporting and minor roles in films such as 'Are You Still in Love?', 'The King's Affection', 'The King', and 'Killing Romance'.
Having majored in Czech and Slovak at Hankuk University of Foreign Studies, she also dedicated herself to academic pursuits at Pusan National University Graduate School alongside her acting career.
