Choi Jun-hee, the daughter of the late actress Choi Jin-sil and currently an influencer, openly shared her candid review of her cheek and eye surgery.
On the 7th, a video titled ‘Smooth Contours,,, Back Under Eye Surgery,,, VLOG’ was posted on Choi Jun-hee's YouTube channel.
She had previously announced her cheek surgery and under-eye back surgery, and revealed her appearance right after the surgery. With bandages wrapped around her face, she said, “Eating is really painful. I can't chew at all, so I'm drinking soy milk.”
The next day, Choi Jun-hee appeared with more swelling. She stated, “I’m a bit more swollen than yesterday, and the bruise under my eyes has become a bit darker. Since I also had the back under-eye surgery, the swelling in the white part of my eyes has increased. It doesn’t hurt, and since it’s a natural phenomenon, I’m not particularly worried about it.”
As a master of self-care, she focused on reducing the swelling by walking a lot and frequently applying ice packs.
She expressed, “This surgery was a bit scary. It’s a tough surgery, so it might just be my feelings, but the anesthesia was really strong, and it left a bit of a mark. I’m not usually scared of the operating room, but this time it was a memorable fear.”
Her boyfriend then asked, “How do you feel now?” and Choi Jun-hee replied, “I just hope the swelling goes down quickly. I can’t see in front of me because of the conjunctival swelling.”
As the swelling gradually decreased, her face became more natural. She also shared her appearance a month after the surgery, saying, “I feel like my midface has become significantly shorter overall. My jawline has lifted, and as the midface shortens and the back under-eye surgery reduces the area, my eyes feel much bigger.” She added, “Right now, there’s no pain or bruising, but the cheek area feels slightly numb. They say it takes about three months for the surgery results to show, and since it’s only been a little over a month for me, I’m really looking forward to when my face stabilizes around autumn.”
Additionally, she mentioned, “I can already feel the changes and there’s no discomfort in my daily life. So, I’m satisfied.”
