Actor Shin Gu will take the stage in a play, overcoming the sadness of his wife's passing.
The production company of the play "Waiting for Godot," Park Company, announced on their official SNS on the 4th, "Shin Gu's wife passed away on the 2nd. We pray for the deceased's soul and express our deep condolences and sympathy."
They continued, "Since Shin Gu has always valued his promise to the audience throughout his life, he will take the stage with a heart to honor the deceased and a sense of responsibility towards art, despite the concerns of many. The performance scheduled from today until tomorrow at the Voice Culture and Arts Center will proceed as planned."

Shin Gu's wife, the late Ha Jeong-sook, passed away on the 2nd. They had been together for over 50 years since tying the knot in 1974 and have one son.
