Domestic star chef Jung Ji-sun is introducing Korean street food to the world.
Chef Jung will participate in the '2025 Summer Fancy Food Show', the largest food fair in North America, held at the Javits Center in New York from June 29 to July 1, showcasing Korean street food culture, including ramen.
During the event, Chef Jung will demonstrate how to easily prepare instant food using an automatic ramen cooking device from the American company The Touch On.
In addition, he will show how to cook dim sum using this device. He is also expected to introduce sauces developed for meal kits tailored to American consumers' tastes.
Popular 'mukbang' YouTuber Hibab, who has about 1.7 million subscribers, will also participate, introducing the American self-serve ramen cafe 'The Ramen House.'
Hibab will film mukbang content by selecting a product from 120 types of ramen and choosing from over 20 toppings to prepare ramen according to personal preferences.
The Fancy Food Show is the largest food fair in North America, with over 2,000 food-related brands participating, focusing on B2B (business-to-business) transactions.
Chef Jung previously worked as the executive chef at Chung Hwa Bok Choy and operated Hong Long Long, and is currently the main chef at Tian Mi Mi. He rose to stardom through shows like 'Please Take Care of My Refrigerator' and 'Black and White Chef,' earning the nickname 'Queen of Dim Sum.'
