Aoi Sora, a former Japanese AV actress, spoke about the personal life controversy involving Jo Hak-nyeon from the group The Boyz and former AV actress Asuka Kirara.
On the 24th, Aoi Sora wrote in Korean on her X (formerly Twitter), "While expressing sexuality, AV actors are not prostitutes."
She continued, "The bad thing is the behavior that led to such suspicious photos being leaked," and added in Japanese, "Fans might think, 'Why does it have to be an AV actress?'".
Although Aoi Sora did not specify a clear subject in her statement, it appears to be related to the recent personal life issues surrounding Jo Hak-nyeon.
Recently, allegations arose that Jo Hak-nyeon met and had physical contact with former AV actress Asuka Kirara at a private bar in Tokyo at the end of May.
His agency, One Hundred, stated, "We take the seriousness of this matter very seriously and clearly recognize that it is difficult to maintain trust as an artist," and added, "After sufficient discussions with the members of The Boyz, we have finalized Jo Hak-nyeon's departure from the team and the termination of his exclusive contract." Jo Hak-nyeon acknowledged the meeting with Asuka but denied the prostitution allegations.
In the meantime, Asuka Kirara emphasized through her SNS, "Please do not spread false information," stating, "I have never engaged in prostitution in my life, and this time is no different."
Aoi Sora, who was a famous AV actress in Japan, retired from the AV industry at the end of the summer of 2011. Since then, she has ventured into China, working as an actress and singer.
