Director Hwang Dong-hyuk urged fans to refrain from spoilers ahead of the screening of the Netflix series 'Squid Game 3'.

On the 25th, Director Hwang stated, "I am both excited and happy to finally show you a glimpse of the final story of 'Squid Game'."

He continued, "All the cast and crew, including myself, have done our best to wrap up the epic journey of 'Squid Game' that has lasted for the past six years. I hope this conclusion can repay the love and long wait you have given us."

Director Hwang emphasized, "'Squid Game' is most enjoyable when watched without prior information or knowing the next story. Especially in this Season 3, the fates of the main characters at a crossroads of destiny and Gi-hun's final choice after a long journey will be revealed. I hope you enjoy it, and please refrain from spoilers for the many others who will watch after the release."

In conclusion, he added, "I sincerely thank you for the interest and love you have shown for 'Squid Game' so far."

Season 1 of 'Squid Game', which premiered in 2021, gained global popularity and reached the number one spot in Netflix's all-time viewing rankings. Season 2 was released at the end of last year and ranked third all-time.

'Squid Game 3' depicts Gi-hun (Lee Jung-jae), who loses his best friend in a game he re-enters with his own purpose, the Frontman (Lee Byung-hun) who hides his identity while infiltrating the game, and the final fates of the participants who survived in that brutal game. It is set to be released worldwide on the 27th.
