Tao (Huang Zitao), a former member of the group EXO, is embroiled in rumors of a secret childbirth.
On the 25th, a Chinese gossip entertainment media outlet posted on its official SNS channel, "First public appearance of Tao and Xu Yi Yang's child," along with a short video of Xu Yi Yang's mother getting into a car with a nanny holding a child.
The entertainment media outlet reported that the child appearing in the video is indeed the child of Tao and Xu Yi Yang.
This is not the first time rumors of Tao and Xu Yi Yang's childbirth have surfaced. Last August, some netizens posted that they had spotted Xu Yi Yang receiving obstetric care in the United States.
In October of last year, during a live broadcast, Tao mentioned, "I want to spend time with my family, wife, and child," but then changed his statement to "spend time with my brothers," which sparked another wave of childbirth rumors.
In December of last year, when Tao officially announced his marriage to Xu Yi Yang, she was spotted shopping for a baby crib at a baby goods store, leading to speculation that the couple might already have a child.
However, some netizens expressed doubts about the video released by the entertainment media, stating, "The child in the video looks much older than the estimated age," "I have never seen Xu Yi Yang with a noticeable baby bump," and "I won't believe it without direct evidence."
