Broadcaster Jeong Seon-hee (53) reflected on her difficult past.
On the 24th, a video titled 'A Day When Something Seems to Happen' was posted on Jeong Seon-hee's YouTube channel 'Jeong Seon-hee Who Left Home'.
In the video, while on a trip to Ganghwa Island, Jeong Seon-hee mentioned fellow broadcaster Kim Jae-dong during dinner, saying, "Kim Jae-dong is a 'quote master', and there was one quote he said that was really good."
She continued, "A young man asked an Indian chief, 'I have a heart filled with curses, hatred, and anger, as well as a heart of forgiveness and reconciliation. These two are fighting; how should I manage this chaotic heart?' The chief replied, 'Think of those feelings as wolves. The ones you feed and nurture will grow.'"
Jeong Seon-hee said, "Isn't that so cool? It was a conversation I had with Kim Jae-dong over a decade ago, and I still remember it because it had a big impact on me." She added, "But sometimes, even if I don't nurture them, they grow by picking up strange things among themselves. But when I nurture them, at some point, it becomes rationalized. I think I can't help but wish for their downfall."
Confessing that she has "struggled a lot," Jeong Seon-hee said, "Do you know how many harsh years I went through to become this person? How many times I cried while tearing toilet paper? 'Just wait, you bastards,' I thought," recalling her past.
Meanwhile, Jeong Seon-hee married actor Ahn Jae-hwan in November 2007 but became a widow in September the following year.
