Yoo Jae-suk has donated 50 million won for young women.

The international development cooperation NGO, G Foundation, announced on the 23rd that Yoo Jae-suk donated 50 million won to support young women who are in a health and hygiene blind spot.

This donation aims to help young women who are struggling due to a lack of menstrual products to grow up healthily in a hygienic and safe environment. It will be used for the 'Health and Hygiene Support Project' that G Foundation is conducting for vulnerable young women in the country. They plan to create menstrual product kits consisting of sanitary pads, feminine hygiene products, underwear, and pouches to distribute to young women across the country.

Yoo Jae-suk stated, “I believe everyone has the right to grow up with dignity. I hope that children do not feel discouraged due to everyday inconveniences or wounds, and I continue to donate with that sentiment,” adding, “I hope this support will be a small but warm encouragement for young women.”

Previously, Yoo Jae-suk began his relationship with G Foundation in April 2020 and has donated a total of 350 million won to date.

Park Chung-kwan, the representative of G Foundation, said, “Yoo Jae-suk's donation is a valuable opportunity to provide essential hygiene products to young women struggling with a lack of menstrual products,” and expressed deep gratitude for his continued attention to the issue of period poverty through ongoing sharing.
