The 4th anniversary of the late Im Ji-ho, the 'Wandering Gourmet', has arrived.

He passed away suddenly from a heart attack in his sleep on June 12, 2021, at the age of 65, ending a precious life.

The late Im, a natural cooking researcher, traveled around the world for over 40 years in search of ingredients and created dishes, earning the nickname 'Wandering Gourmet'. In 2006, he received a commendation from the Minister of Foreign Affairs and Trade. He was a great figure who provided warmth and comfort to viewers by showcasing his cooking with natural ingredients in various broadcasts and films.

He appeared in several entertainment programs such as SBS's 'How to Eat Well and Live Well, Have You Eaten?', MBN's 'Eat More', SBS's 'Law of the Jungle', and 'Master in the House', comforting and encouraging those around him with his heartfelt cooking skills and warm life stories.

In particular, the autobiographical documentary film 'Bapjeong', released in February 2020, conveyed his deep affection for his mother and his philosophy on cooking, resonating deeply with audiences.

'Bapjeong' depicted the journey of the late Im as he sought the true taste of life, reminiscing about his biological mother, his foster mother who raised him with love, and the mothers he encountered along the way over a decade.
