Actor Heo Nam-jun's agency has released a statement regarding the controversy surrounding the unofficial fan event.
Heo Nam-jun's agency, H-Solid, stated in an official position on the 11th, "There was an instance where the actor visited the site to express gratitude for the love received from some fans who prepared an unofficial event." They added, "However, we are very sorry and express deep regret that unexpected commotion occurred, which was contrary to the original intention."
They continued, "We have been monitoring the situation," and "As a result of internal discussions, it has been decided that the actor will not make individual visits to fan events outside of official schedules or participate formally through prior announcements in the future."
Additionally, they expressed, "We sincerely hope for a healthy fandom culture where all fans can be happy. We deeply thank all fans who always send their unwavering love."
Previously, Heo Nam-jun's fans held a birthday event at a cafe to celebrate the actor's birthday. Heo Nam-jun made a surprise visit to repay the fans' affection, but it was reported that only a few fans and acquaintances of the organizers were allowed entry at that time, leading to dissatisfaction among fans who could not enter.
Heo Nam-jun has appeared in various works including the dramas 'Wedding Battle', 'Your Honor', 'The Call', and 'Ask the Stars', as well as the films 'Double Patty' and 'Veteran 2'. He is set to appear in the JTBC drama 'A Hundred Memories' airing in October.
