She truly excels at everything. On stage, in satire (parody), in makeup, she is a true multi-talented performer. I met the trending comedian Lee Soo-ji (41).
Meeting in a café in Samcheong-dong on the morning of the 26th, she said, "With the support of many people, I won the Baeksang Arts Award... I am happier than ever these days, and I am glad to have this opportunity to communicate," humbly greeting with her hands together.
Lee Soo-ji first recalled her meeting with actress Kim Go-eun during the Baeksang Arts Awards, saying, "I had to do a parody at our first meeting, and I was worried it might be rude in some ways. I immediately apologized upon meeting her, but actress Go-eun graciously accepted and warmly asked, 'Why are you sorry?' It was a truly joyful and touching memory," she said with a bright smile.

As the formal interview began, questions about 'Jamie Mom' poured in.
She recently returned to her YouTube channel 'Hot Issue Ji' with 'Jamie Mom' content. This is a fake documentary series that satirizes the reality of private education in Daechi-dong, marking her comeback three months after the release of two episodes in February. In this content, Lee Soo-ji portrays a realistic 'Gangnam mom' character with detailed descriptions of behaviors and speech, including everyday bullying, information warfare at kids' cafes, and subtle bragging about children.
Previously, she garnered attention by parodying items known as 'Gangnam uniforms,' such as 'Moncler' padding and Goyard bags, and this time she appeared wearing high-end products like Helen Kaminski's raffia hat, Hermes scarves and sandals, Van Cleef necklaces, and Chanel classic bags.

Particularly, the content was embroiled in controversy for allegedly targeting actress Han Ga-in, to which Lee Soo-ji cautiously responded, "As a creator, I always feel regretful, careful, and sorry."
She continued, "When creating all content, my basic mindset is to provide laughter based on 'empathy,' so I thoroughly observe my surroundings, listen a lot, and prepare intensely. Nevertheless, unexpected situations arise. I have come to think that I need to be more careful and meticulous in my creations."
"All characters are based on people around me, or my own experiences, which I add and develop."
When asked if she had contacted Han Ga-in after the controversy, she replied, "Since I didn't target anyone or express a specific person... (I haven't contacted her separately)."
She added, "After that incident, I have become more mindful. Our content always includes a disclaimer that it is not aimed at any specific person, and I think we need to emphasize that more. When creating something new, I find myself looking for any potential issues more often," she said, "In fact, as the refinement increases, the restrictions grow, and that can inevitably dilute the humor, so I often think about how to balance that."
