Lim Young-woong ranks first in singer brand reputation, surpassing BTS and BLACKPINK

Lim Young-woong has topped the singer brand reputation rankings.

According to the Korea Corporate Reputation Research Institute, the big data analysis of singer brand reputation for May 2025 revealed that Lim Young-woong ranked first, followed by BTS in second place and BLACKPINK in third.

The Korea Corporate Reputation Research Institute analyzed 104,474,205 pieces of big data on singer brands from April 24, 2025, to May 24, 2025, examining consumer brand participation, media, communication, and community. This represents a 9.18% decrease compared to the 115,029,170 pieces of big data analyzed in April.

The singer brand reputation index is derived from big data on singer brands that are loved by consumers, analyzing consumer behavior and categorizing it into participation value, communication value, media value, and community value, along with positive and negative ratio analysis and reputation analysis algorithms. Through brand reputation analysis, it is possible to find out who, where, how, how much, and why people are talking about the brand.

Lim Young-woong, who recorded first place in singer brand reputation, had a participation index of 1,380,397, a media index of 1,432,423, a communication index of 2,675,909, and a community index of 1,439,283, resulting in a brand reputation index of 6,928,012. This is a 5.80% increase compared to the brand reputation index of 6,547,908 in April.

In second place, BTS (RM, Jin, Suga, J-Hope, Jimin, V, Jungkook) had a participation index of 263,421, a media index of 947,083, a communication index of 2,051,348, and a community index of 3,550,465, resulting in a brand reputation index of 6,812,318. This is a 3.00% decrease compared to the brand reputation index of 7,022,818 in April.

In third place, BLACKPINK (Jisoo, Jennie, Rosé, Lisa) had a participation index of 237,448, a media index of 888,340, a communication index of 1,737,369, and a community index of 2,036,480, resulting in a brand reputation index of 4,899,637. This is a 12.78% increase compared to the brand reputation index of 4,344,297 in April.

In fourth place, IVE (An Yujin, Gaeul, Rei, Jang Wonyoung, Liz, Lee Seo) had a participation index of 315,094, a media index of 826,500, a communication index of 1,298,171, and a community index of 1,096,384, resulting in a brand reputation index of 3,536,148. This is a 25.30% decrease compared to the brand reputation index of 4,733,913 in April.

In fifth place, BIGBANG (G-Dragon, Taeyang, Daesung) had a participation index of 127,541, a media index of 444,361, a communication index of 771,722, and a community index of 1,207,141, resulting in a brand reputation index of 2,550,766. This is a 27.48% decrease compared to the brand reputation index of 3,517,543 in April.

Director Koo Chang-hwan stated, "According to the big data analysis of singer brand reputation for May 2025, Lim Young-woong's brand ranked first. Analyzing the singer brand category, it shows a 9.18% decrease compared to the 115,029,170 pieces of big data in April. A detailed analysis reveals a 7.23% decrease in brand consumption, a 15.01% decrease in brand issues, a 7.49% decrease in brand communication, and a 6.12% decrease in brand dissemination."

He continued, "Lim Young-woong's brand, which shows overwhelming fandom power in OSTs, music, OTT, and advertising channels, ranked first. BTS, which raises expectations for a complete group with the activities of its members, ranked second, while BLACKPINK, showcasing the diverse colors of its members, ranked third. The IVE brand, which has evolved into an icon beyond a trend, ranked fourth, and BIGBANG, which is making history again through G-Dragon, ranked fifth."

The top 30 singer brand reputation rankings for May 2025 are Lim Young-woong, BTS, BLACKPINK, IVE, BIGBANG, DAY6, aespa, Lee Chan-won, SEVENTEEN, TO1, Car the Garden, (G)I-DLE, PSY, TWICE, Red Velvet, EXO, Young Tak, Jo Jae-suk, Hwang Ga-ram, Oh My Girl, Highlight, ITZY, Jang Yoon-jung, Kiki, Jung Dong-won, Younha, Baek Ji-young, Fifty Fifty, BIBI, and LE SSERAFIM.
