Lim Soo-ah, a prominent figure in the Korean voice acting industry known for dubbing 'Anne of Green Gables' and 'Detective Conan', has passed away.
According to the Korean Voice Actors Association, Lim Soo-ah passed away at the age of 74 on the 22nd.
She joined TBC as part of the 4th generation in 1968 and primarily voiced middle-aged female characters in numerous animations and foreign films.
She gained popularity particularly for her roles in 'Detective Conan', Disney's 'Beauty and the Beast 1 and 2', 'Thumbelina', 'Alice in Wonderland', 'Sleeping Beauty', 'Pocahontas', and more. She also made contributions to films such as 'What's Eating Gilbert Grape', 'Minority Report', 'Men in Black 2', 'Billy Elliot', and 'Cinema Paradiso'.
The funeral home is set up at Seoul National University Hospital. The funeral will be held on the 24th, and the burial site is Seoul Memorial Park.
