BTS's Jin met Hollywood actor Tom Cruise.
On the 20th, Tom Cruise appeared on Jin's solo variety show 'Run, Sukjin' on the BTS YouTube channel 'BANGTAN TV' and shared delightful stories.
Jin asked Tom Cruise, “Do you know BTS?” and showed a delighted expression when he replied, “Of course I do.” He then shouted, “BTS friends, Tom Cruise knows us!” bringing laughter.
Tom Cruise expressed, “Everything that BTS and Jin have achieved is truly amazing. I’m happy to be here with you.”
Jin also revealed his heartfelt affection for Tom Cruise, saying, “The first movie I watched after being able to see films rated for 15 years and older was the 'Mission: Impossible' series.”
Tom Cruise shared his special feelings for Korea, stating, “Korean culture is really cool, the people are incredibly warm, the history is very interesting, and the food is so delicious.”
Regarding the buzzworthy action stunt of hanging from a spinning airplane at 2,438 meters, he remarked, “It felt like I did the hardest weight training of my life in just five minutes. It was the most difficult action of my life,” surprising everyone.
Jin expressed, “I also want to be an IMF agent,” leading to a delightful back-and-forth between the two world stars that made fans around the world smile.
During the interview, Jin mentioned that his favorite food is mulhoe (a Korean raw fish dish), and later in a blooper reel, he said, “I recommended mulhoe today, and I think I would feel proud to hear a mukbang review.” Tom Cruise responded with a video of himself enjoying mulhoe, adding significance to the meeting of the two global stars.
