Han-gyeol from the lesbian dating reality show ‘Your Love’ claimed that she received an inappropriate proposal from fellow cast member Lee-won, who was previously embroiled in controversy over her past.
On the 1st, Han-gyeol opened up on her SNS, stating, “There were no romantic feelings between me and the cast member during filming, only a friendship. I hope that the meaning of the show is not diminished due to misunderstandings.”
She continued, “After the broadcast, the cast member and I maintained contact to the extent of checking in on each other. During this time, I received a proposal to go abroad together, which I initially understood as a simple travel invitation. However, as I heard more specific details, such as going on dinner dates, I realized it was an inappropriate proposal that crossed the line. I clearly communicated my refusal.”
Han-gyeol also mentioned, “I want to clarify that I am not the only one who received a similar proposal,” adding, “False claims of having moved on from the past should not be used as a mask to easily manipulate sexual orientation in this industry.”
Furthermore, she stated, “I understand that there can be various interpretations of the relationship shown on the show. However, I am just one cast member and an individual living an ordinary life,” and requested, “Please refrain from excessive speculation or distorted false interpretations that are not based on facts.”
‘Your Love,’ a Wave original entertainment program, is the first lesbian dating show in Korea. However, after the release of episodes 1 and 2 on the 25th of last month, allegations arose regarding cast member Kim Lee-won’s past as an adult broadcast BJ and claims of her dating men.
In response to the controversy, Kim Lee-won acknowledged that she had worked as an adult broadcast BJ for about three years but clarified that there were no inappropriate encounters with viewers.
