Kian84 shared his thoughts on the enthusiastic response to ‘The Crazy Guesthouse’.
On the morning of the 15th, a press conference was held at the JW Marriott Hotel in Dongdaemun, Seoul, for the second part of the Netflix variety show ‘The Crazy Guesthouse’, attended by Kian84, BTS Jin, Ji Ye-eun, Jung Hyo-min, Lee So-min, and PD Hwang Yoon-seo.
Kian84 greeted overseas fans by saying, “Nice to meet you,” and added, “Today we are starting our second round of operations. Please watch a lot.”
Kian84 mentioned, “When I heard that the PD directed ‘Hyori’s Homestay’, I thought we should be different. I’ve been thinking for a long time that since all accommodation businesses are meant for guests to relax, what if we made it as uncomfortable as possible? I wondered if we could create romance within that discomfort.”
He continued, “I was struggling to draw the house for a long time, and it finally came out at the last minute, rushed by the deadline. I didn’t know they would actually build that house on Netflix.”
‘The Crazy Guesthouse’, produced as a 9-episode series, is a unique variety show where Kian84, Jin, and Ji Ye-eun interact with guests at a guesthouse on Ulleungdo, flowing with Kian’s unique ideas. Episodes 1 to 3 were released on the 8th, and episodes 4 to 6 will be released on the 15th at 4 PM.
