Actor Kang Hoon has been reappointed as the ambassador for the National Museum of Korea.
On the 9th, the National Museum of Korea announced that Kang Hoon has been appointed as the 10th ambassador for the museum. Having been appointed as the 9th ambassador in March 2023, Kang Hoon will continue his role as the 10th ambassador for another two years until April 7, 2027.
During his time as the museum's ambassador, Kang Hoon has participated in audio guides for special exhibitions such as 'Vienna 1900, Dreaming Artists' and 'The Gaze of Masters, Towards People: The National Gallery of England Masterpieces Exhibition.'
He expressed his feelings, stating, “As the ambassador for the National Museum of Korea, I will strive to promote not only the value of the museum but also the beautiful culture of our country more widely.”
Kang Hoon made his debut in the 2014 film 'Picnic' and gained recognition through various works including 'Such a Flower-like Ending,' 'Little Women,' 'Into Your Time,' and 'To My Harry.' Last May, he was selected as a 'temporary member' on the SBS variety show 'Running Man' and has been active since.
