The group 2NE1 will perform at Waterbomb Bali.
According to the event organizer WAAO, 2NE1 will take the stage at 'Waterbomb Bali 2025' held in Bali, Indonesia on September 6-7.
WAAO stated, "The Bali stage was made possible due to numerous requests from Blackjacks (2NE1 fandom), and this appearance will be recorded as a historic moment created by the fandom, beyond just a performance." They added, "Last year, 2NE1 held a concert in Jakarta, Indonesia in November to celebrate their 15th anniversary. Originally planned as a one-time performance, the Jakarta concert sold out within minutes of ticket sales opening, with over 100,000 people waiting to access the site."
As a result, the event organizer iMe Indonesia made an emergency decision to add an additional performance day, highlighting 2NE1's vibrant local popularity.
WAAO's CEO Park Jae-hyun expressed, "This Waterbomb Bali event will go beyond just a performance, as it will feature K-brands representing South Korea (beauty, fashion, food and beverage, healthcare, etc.), and we are also promoting the 'K-City Project' to fill Bali (airports, hotels, shopping malls, city advertisements, etc.) with K-pop content," raising expectations even further.
'Waterbomb' is a global music festival that has recorded sold-out shows in major cities around the world, including Seoul, Tokyo, Bangkok, Hong Kong, Taipei, Singapore, and Manila.
This Waterbomb Bali 2025 will be the first large-scale music festival held in Bali in K-pop history. It is reported that other K-pop artists are also being considered for participation.
