Clone Kang Won-rae's wife, Kim Song, announced that she had to go to a university hospital due to health deterioration.
On the 17th, Kim Song posted a lengthy message on her social media starting with “What is this about?” She wrote, “I managed the pain with painkillers over the weekend, but the roof of my mouth was filled with pus, making it uncomfortable to swallow.” She continued, “Today, I went to the dentist for gum treatment and after getting an anesthetic injection, I was told that it was not inflammation due to dental calculus, but a cyst in my gums, and I was given a referral to go to a large hospital.”
She added, “The dentist said I might need to go to oral surgery to incise my gums and possibly remove the cyst (the CT scan from 2021 showed it was small, but it has grown by 2025). I went to the emergency room at Asan Medical Center and made an outpatient appointment for Wednesday morning. They drained some pus from the roof of my mouth in the morning, but it filled up again and got bigger.”
She also shared, “Life brings all sorts of things~ Not knowing what’s ahead makes me humble, and I pass through this time with a calm heart. My sister-in-law is worried it might be cancer, holding onto the doctor and almost crying... pleading...” conveying her family's reactions.
Additionally, she reassured her fans that she is okay and added, “Please pray for an accurate diagnosis and treatment.”

What is this about?
I managed the pain with painkillers over the weekend, but the roof of my mouth was filled with pus, making it uncomfortable to swallow.
Today, I went to the dentist for gum treatment and after getting an anesthetic injection, I was told that it was not inflammation due to dental calculus.
I was told it was a cyst in my gums, and I was given a referral to go to a large hospital.
The dentist said I might need to go to oral surgery to incise my gums and possibly remove the cyst (the CT scan from 2021 showed it was small, but it has grown by 2025).
I went to the emergency room at Asan Medical Center and made an outpatient appointment for Wednesday morning.
In the morning, they drained some pus from the roof of my mouth, but it filled up again and got bigger.
Life brings all sorts of things~
Not knowing what’s ahead makes me humble, and I pass through this time with a calm heart.
My sister-in-law is worried it might be cancer, holding onto the doctor and almost crying... pleading...
I am okay.
Please pray for an accurate diagnosis and treatment.
