Singer Jay Park has begun a war against cyber racketeers spreading false rumors about him.

In January, Jay Park filed a request with the Northern District Court of California in San Jose for Google to approve the disclosure of evidence to verify the identity of YouTuber Shin Won-hak.

According to a request sent by his agency, More Vision Communication, YouTuber A posted two short videos and a post about Jay Park in October 2024. Additionally, he left comments attacking him.

A particularly claimed that Jay Park was involved in drug smuggling, illegal coins, and had connections with the Chinese triad.

It is reported that after filing a defamation lawsuit against A in December last year, Jay Park's team requested discovery from the US court last month to identify A. Since Google's headquarters, which operates YouTube, is in the US, A's identity cannot be verified in Korea.

Jay Park's team pointed out, "The posts and shorts have recorded millions of views and thousands of comments," adding, "They seriously damage Jay Park's reputation."

Last year, Jay Park announced a large-scale project 'Jay Park Season' and released the album 'THE ONE YOU WANTED'. Recently, he announced a world tour for the first time in six years.
