‘Solo Hell’ Season 5 is in production.
On the 14th, Netflix announced, “Thanks to four consecutive hits, we have confirmed the production of Season 5.”
‘Solo Hell’ is an honest and intense dating reality show featuring singles on a remote island called ‘Hell Island,’ where they can only leave if they become a couple. All previous seasons have ranked in the global TOP 10, achieving success for four consecutive seasons, and setting a new record as the first Korean variety show on Netflix to reach Season 5.
Starting with Season 1 entering the global TOP 10 TV (non-English) category for Korean variety shows, Season 2 maintained its position in the same category for four consecutive weeks, recording a cumulative viewing time of 65.08 million hours. Season 3, which broke the existing mold with its shocking developments, dominated the global TOP 10 for five weeks and showcased its true value by appearing in the TOP 10 lists of 31 countries.
At the heart of ‘Solo Hell,’ which opened a new chapter in dating reality shows, are the honest and charming singles. The singles stimulate viewers' romantic cells and have been at the center of attention every season. From the unpredictable fun of Season 4, which offered dramatic twists more thrilling than movies, each season has evolved and changed, keeping viewers' dopamine levels high.
