Singer and actress Son Na-eun has been victimized by phone hacking.
On the 12th, Son Na-eun's agency YG Entertainment posted on her SNS, "This is YG Entertainment. Recently, an incident occurred where actress Son Na-eun's personal phone was hacked, and we would like to provide information regarding this matter."
They continued, "The hacker demanded money on the condition that they would not disclose the illegally collected data, and actress Son Na-eun, not wanting to harm her family and acquaintances, complied once."
They added, "However, the hacker did not stop there and is now demanding additional money while continuing to threaten her. The situation is causing significant mental distress, as they have contacted not only the actress but also her family." They emphasized, "This case is already under formal investigation by the police, and we clearly state that we will take strong legal action against any criminal acts related to invasion of privacy and threats."
The agency also requested, "As a formal investigation is currently underway, we kindly ask that you refrain from reporting unverified facts."
