‘Mr. Trot’ is landing in the Japanese archipelago.
On the night of the 19th at 10 PM, ‘Mr. Trot Japan’ will premiere on the video streaming service Lemino of the Docomo Group in Japan.
Judges for ‘Mr. Trot Japan’ include Hosokawa Takashi, Takebe Satoshi, Takahashi Yoko, Hitomi, Sunin, K, Tsubaki Kino, Inoue Yusuke (NONSTYLE), Amika, and Jang Min-ho.
Hosokawa Takashi is a legendary singer representing the Japanese music scene, holding the remarkable record of participating in NHK’s ‘Kohaku Uta Gassen’ 39 times. K, a Korean singer who captivated both Japan and Korea with the hit song ‘Only Human’ in the 2000s, is also on the judge list.
In particular, the performance of Jang Min-ho, a trot star produced by ‘Mr. Trot 1’ and currently active as a master in ‘Mr. Trot 2’ and ‘Mr. Trot 3’, is highly anticipated.
As prominent artists from both Japan and Korea are participating, ‘Mr. Trot 3’ and ‘Mr. Trot Japan’ are expected to facilitate exchanges between the judges. It is anticipated that judges from both countries will participate in each other's programs, creating a platform for music exchange between Japan and Korea.
The winner of ‘Mr. Trot Japan’ will receive a prize of 10 million yen and an opportunity for a collaboration with participants from the currently popular ‘Mr. Trot 3’.
