SBS announcer Kim Da-young shared her thoughts ahead of her wedding to her fiancé Bae Sung-jae.
On the 7th, Kim Da-young posted on Instagram, “I have become a couple with someone I have been meeting cautiously and beautifully.” along with a photo of a doll.
She continued, “If it weren’t for our public professions and the overlapping environment, we might have been able to meet more comfortably. I have thought for a long time about how we can be together in a way that is harmless and unremarkable for both of us and everyone around us.”
Kim Da-young also stated, “We will not hold a separate ceremony, but will instead have a meal with only our immediate families. It is polite to contact and inform acquaintances individually in advance, but I ask for your understanding as I cannot do so due to various cautious circumstances.”
Finally, Kim Da-young added, “I will only accept congratulations and blessings in my heart. I will live a normal and unremarkable life.”
Previously, news of Bae Sung-jae and Kim Da-young's wedding was reported. Bae Sung-jae's agency, SM C&C, announced, “Announcer Bae Sung-jae will marry SBS announcer Kim Da-young in May. The two promised to be partners after two years of dating.”
The agency stated, “The two wish to start quietly without any formalities, and will substitute the ceremony with a family meal. We kindly ask for your understanding as we cannot provide specific details regarding matters related to the wedding, as they are private.”
Bae Sung-jae and Kim Da-young overcame a 14-year age difference and developed their relationship through the SBS variety show “Goal Digger.” In particular, the fact that Bae Sung-jae is a former SBS announcer has made them a topic of interest as an “announcer couple.”

Hello, this is Kim Da-young. I have become a couple with someone I have been meeting cautiously and beautifully.
If it weren’t for our public professions and the overlapping environment, we might have been able to meet more comfortably. I have thought for a long time about how we can be together in a way that is harmless and unremarkable for both of us and everyone around us.
We will not hold a separate ceremony, but will instead have a meal with only our immediate families. It is polite to contact and inform acquaintances individually in advance, but I ask for your understanding as I cannot do so due to various cautious circumstances.
I will only accept congratulations and blessings in my heart. I will live a normal and unremarkable life.
With love, Da-young
