Kim Dae-ho, an MBC announcer, won the Best Entertainer award, which is a nominee for the Grand Prize this year.
On the 28th at 8:20 PM, the ‘MBC Entertainment Awards’ took place at the new MBC headquarters in Sangam-dong, Mapo-gu, Seoul. The event was hosted by Jeon Hyun-moo, Yoon Eun-hye, and Lee Jang-woo.
The Best Entertainer award, which is a nominee for the Grand Prize, went to Kim Dae-ho. He expressed his gratitude, saying, “Thank you so much. I came without any expectations,” and added, “Not everything that looks good comes out. I want to thank the production team who created this without misunderstandings and the viewers who watched without misunderstandings. I wish you all a happy new year.”
In response, Jeon Hyun-moo asked, “You received the Best Newcomer award two years ago, and now you’re a nominee for the Grand Prize. Are you expecting an award?” Kim Dae-ho replied, “I don’t know how this will be received, but my friend Gian84 received the Grand Prize... I hope you take it without misunderstandings. I hope there’s a gradual process,” which drew laughter.
He continued, “It feels heavy because it’s a big award, and I still have a lot to learn and experience. It’s not that I don’t want to be like Gian84; he definitely deserves it, but I feel that I am still lacking. I am grateful to be in this position. I will take it seriously and work hard.”
The ‘MBC Entertainment Awards’ is an event that summarizes the entertainment, cultural, and radio programs broadcast throughout the year. Last year, MBC aired many popular existing programs such as ‘The Manager’, ‘What Do You Do When You Play?’, ‘I Live Alone’, ‘Radio Star’, ‘Home Alone’, and ‘It’s a Relief to Rest’. Additionally, new programs like ‘Class That Crosses the Line’, ‘Song Stealer’, ‘Frugal Man’, ‘Speakers’, and ‘Music Journey Born to Be’ were also broadcast. Pilot programs such as ‘The Leader’s Side Dishes’, ‘Weekly Taste Research Institute’, ‘Hot Topic’, and ‘Reaching You’ were aired as well.
