It has been 7 years since actor Jeon Tae-soo passed away.
He ended his life due to depression on January 21, 2018, at the age of 34.
At that time, his agency stated, “He had been receiving treatment for depression and was in a state of improvement, discussing his return as an actor until recently,” and added, “All his family and friends are mourning his sudden passing with deep sorrow.”
Born in 1984, Jeon Tae-soo worked in the same industry as his sister Ha Ji-won (real name Jeon Hae-rim) and showed a special bond.
He debuted in the entertainment industry in 2007 with the music video for ‘How Have You Been?’ and gained popularity by appearing in numerous dramas such as SBS’s ‘Good Day to Love’, MBC’s ‘My Love, My Love’, SBS’s ‘The King and I’, and KBS2’s ‘Sungkyunkwan Scandal’.
After completing her brother's funeral, Ha Ji-won expressed her heartfelt longing, saying, “A beautiful star. I hope that star is born into a world where it shines endlessly, that my beloved star is happier than anyone in the world, and becomes a star loved by all. I love you, my beautiful star Tae-soo.”
