Broadcaster Jo Young-goo revealed the story of losing 5.6 billion won.
On the 4th, Jo Young-goo appeared on the YouTube channel 'Kim Hyun-wook's News, Not Just a Drink'.
He started by saying, "It's hard these days because I have no work," and "I lent 3.5 billion won to someone and I haven't received it back."
He added, "I believe I will eventually get back the 3.5 billion won I lent. It's not a loss. These people are going through tough times, but I think they will overcome it."
He continued, "I pray for them to do well these days."
When MC Kim Hyun-wook mentioned that he lost 2.1 billion won in stocks and asked, "Does that mean a total of 5.6 billion won when combined with the 3.5 billion won lent?" Jo Young-goo nodded.
He expressed his frustration, saying, "There are so many people asking to borrow money that it's driving me crazy. I have no money."

He mentioned that he has been involved in stocks for a lifetime. Jo Young-goo said, "I had 2.5 billion won, but I ended up with 450 million won," and regretted, "I should have bought land with that money."
He candidly shared, "When I first started investing in stocks, I put in 20 million won and made 10 million won in just two weeks, so I thought, 'I can make money this easily.' I took the wrong first step."
Jo Young-goo debuted as a professional MC in 1994 with SBS's first public recruitment and has worked as a reporter and professional MC for various programs.
He married show host Shin Jae-eun in 2007 and has a son.
