Actor Song Ha-yoon's legal representative, the law firm Ji-eum, has stated its position regarding the entry announcement of the informant A, who claims to be a victim of school violence.

On the 22nd, Ji-eum stated to Maeil Business Star Today, "We plan to support all expenses, including airfare, hotel costs, and transportation, to ensure that A can return quickly and undergo an investigation."

They added, "We are already prepared to verify the facts regarding various claims made by A after their entry into Korea and respond accordingly."

Currently residing in the United States, A hinted at their planned entry by explaining on an online community on the 21st that "Song Ha-yoon's side has defined me as a 'wanted person' and 'suspect' and has filed an additional complaint for false accusations."

According to A, Song Ha-yoon's side demanded a public apology for a false confession. A also reported that they have officially confirmed documents related to Song Ha-yoon's forced transfer from administrative agencies.

In particular, A announced that they would additionally file complaints for false accusations, defamation under the Information and Communications Network Act, defamation of character under the Criminal Act, and coercion, and would also raise issues of defamation through publications and violations of attorney ethics against his law firm.

A claimed, "This case is a global defamation and false accusation case against a foreign national, which differentiates it from general matters and will serve as an important precedent regarding the protection of whistleblowers and the limits of personal attacks through the media."

The controversy over Song Ha-yoon's school violence allegations emerged in April last year through JTBC's 'Incident Manager'. At that time, A claimed to have been subjected to group violence by three classmates, including Song Ha-yoon, during high school, and that they were forced to transfer as a result.

At that time, Song Ha-yoon's side denied all allegations of school violence, stating, "It is completely unfounded."
