Actress Kim Sae-ron has directly addressed the marriage rumors.
According to a report by Hankyung.com on the 8th, Kim Sae-ron stated in an interview with the media, "It's a photo taken with friends," and clarified that "(the marriage rumors) are not true." She added that regarding the reason for deleting the post, "It seems difficult to explain," and requested understanding.
Previously, on the 6th, Kim Sae-ron posted a photo on SNS with the caption "Marry." The photo showed Kim Sae-ron posing affectionately with a man. Although the photo was deleted shortly after, the fact that Kim Sae-ron had posted it with the word "Marry," which implies marriage, spread across SNS and online communities, leading to the marriage rumors.
Meanwhile, Kim Sae-ron was involved in a drunk driving incident in May 2022, where she crashed into guardrails, street trees, and a transformer more than three times in Cheongdam-dong, Gangnam-gu, Seoul. At the time, her blood alcohol concentration was reported to be 0.2%, well above the license revocation level (0.08%). Kim Sae-ron was charged with violating the Road Traffic Act and faced trial, receiving a fine of 20 million won. As a result of this incident, she withdrew from the SBS drama 'Trolley' and was edited out of the Netflix drama 'Hunting Dogs.'
