Actors Yoo Yeon-seok and Chae Soo-bin received the Best Couple Award.
On the 5th, the ‘2024 MBC Acting Awards’ was recorded and broadcast. The Best Couple Award went to the Chae Soo-bin and Yoo Yeon-seok couple.
The nominees for the Best Couple Award were: Lee Ha-nee and Lee Jong-won from ‘Flowers Bloom at Night’, Lee Je-hoon and Lee Dong-wook from ‘Investigation Team 1958’, Kim Hee-sun and Lee Hye-young from ‘Our Home’, Han Seok-kyu and Chae Won-bin from ‘Such a Close Betrayer’, and Yoo Yeon-seok and Chae Soo-bin from ‘The Call You’re Making Now’, totaling five teams.
The Best Couple Award, determined by 100% viewer voting, was awarded to Yoo Yeon-seok and Chae Soo-bin. Chae Soo-bin said, “As I was rehearsing as the MC, the camera followed my movements from behind, and I thought, ‘Are we receiving this award?’ I’m so happy to receive so much love.” She continued, “I think this award is thanks to my oppa who led us well on set. I’m grateful,” passing the credit to Yoo Yeon-seok.
Yoo Yeon-seok stated, “I am Yoo Yeon-seok, playing the role of Baek Sa-eon in ‘The Call You’re Making Now’. Our Sa-eon and Hee-joo couple is affectionately called the ‘Saju Couple’, and I really wanted to receive this Best Couple Award. I’m thankful to receive it with Soo-bin. The drama has two episodes left, and I’m grateful for this award given by the many viewers and fans who love the drama. I feel the love for the drama, and it makes me happy,” adding, “I think receiving this award is possible because Hee-joo is played by Soo-bin, so I’m thankful.”
The ‘2024 MBC Acting Awards’ is a ceremony that summarizes all the dramas aired on MBC, including ‘Flowers Bloom at Night’, ‘Wonderful World’, ‘Investigation Team 1958’, ‘Our Home’, ‘Death to Snow White - Black Out’ (hereafter ‘Snow White’), ‘Such a Close Betrayer’ (hereafter ‘Such a Betrayer’), ‘The Call You’re Making Now’, ‘I Don’t Like Pork Cutlet’, ‘Third Marriage’, ‘Brave and Fearless Yong Soo-jung’, and ‘Kind-hearted Captain’.
