'Chainsaw Man' Ranks 6th Among All-Time Japanese Anime [MK Box Office]

The theatrical release 'Chainsaw Man: Reze Arc' is maintaining its position at the box office.

According to the integrated ticket sales network of the Korean Film Council, 'Chainsaw Man: Reze Arc' attracted 25,169 viewers the previous day, bringing its total audience count to 2,247,733.

The film is based on the popular episode of Fujimoto Tatsuki's manga 'Chainsaw Man,' which has surpassed 30 million copies in global circulation, easily crossing the 2 million mark.

It has set a new record by surpassing the 2.22 million viewers of 'Demon Slayer: Mugen Train,' which was released in 2020, now ranking 6th in the all-time domestic box office for Japanese animation. It has also surpassed the Hollywood blockbuster 'Jurassic World: Dominion,' which was released in July, entering the overall box office TOP 10 for the year.

'Boss' also maintained its 2nd place. On the same day, it was chosen by over 14,000 viewers, bringing its cumulative audience count to 2,273,132.

'Can't Help It' took 3rd place, attracting over 10,000 viewers and bringing its total audience count to approximately 2,788,000.

As of 8:20 AM on that day, the top pre-sale rate was for 'Chainsaw Man: Reze Arc' (20.7%). Following it were 'First Ride' (17.3%) and 'Coraline' (6.2%).
