Lee Jae-eun comforted the listeners, saying, "I think it's important not to force yourself to suppress your feelings but to allow yourself to grieve and take the time to embrace and comfort yourself." She added, "We need to focus on preventing recurrence, ensuring proper accident recovery, and providing support and comfort to the bereaved families."

There was a family traveling to celebrate their father's 80th birthday, a couple about to get married, and even a 3-year-old child. There were many heartbreaking stories." She continued, "I feel how precious family is and can hardly imagine how difficult it is for the bereaved families. I sincerely extend my deepest condolences."

On the morning of the 29th, at 9:03 AM, Jeju Air flight C2216 from Bangkok, Thailand, crashed into the airport's outer wall while attempting an emergency landing at Muan International Airport in Jeollanam-do, resulting in the aircraft being partially destroyed and completely burned. The fire department rescued only 2 crew members from the aircraft, which had a total of 181 people on board, including 175 passengers and 6 crew members, and transported them to the hospital. The government has designated a national mourning period until January 4, 2025.
