ADOR, which is in a contract dispute with the group NewJeans, is currently taking legal action against online trolls.

On the 27th, ADOR announced through its official fan platform, "We are regularly taking legal action against those who create malicious posts involving defamation, insults, sexual harassment, malicious slander, and the use of derogatory terms against NewJeans. We would like to inform you of the major developments regarding this matter."

ADOR stated, "First of all, as a result of our existing legal actions, legal penalties for various criminal acts are being imposed. A fine of several million won has been finally confirmed by the Supreme Court for the crime of distributing and selling fictional obscene images by combining the artists' likenesses. Additionally, fines have been imposed on defendants who wrote severely insulting comments. Furthermore, we would like to inform you that police investigations and legal procedures are underway for cases where malicious posts were made anonymously, and the suspects have been identified."

ADOR continued, "We have submitted complaints to law enforcement agencies against numerous malicious post creators by collecting evidence of acts that infringe on the artists' rights through valuable reports from fans and our own real-time monitoring. The targets of the complaints include those who spread false information, insults, sexual harassment, and other malicious posts and comments on domestic and international platforms (DC Inside, Ilgan Best, Naver, YouTube)."

They added, "In the process of legal action related to the infringement of artists' rights, we are responding strictly with a zero-tolerance principle, and we will continue to thoroughly secure evidence through real-time monitoring of all domestic and international channels and take strong legal action, holding those responsible accountable to the end, even if it takes time."

Meanwhile, NewJeans is in a contract dispute with ADOR. They held an emergency press conference on November 28 in the afternoon, declaring that they would terminate their exclusive contract with ADOR as of midnight on the 29th. The members claimed at the event that they would not have to pay any penalties for terminating the contract due to ADOR's breach of contract.

In response to NewJeans' unilateral declaration of contract termination, ADOR filed a lawsuit for confirmation of the validity of the exclusive contract at the Seoul Central District Court. Since then, NewJeans has maintained its position that the exclusive contract has been terminated and has continued with their schedule. Since the 14th, they have created a new SNS account called 'Jeanzforfree' and started communicating with fans.
