Netflix's reality show ‘Solo Hell 4’ will be released on January 14.

‘Solo Hell’ is a dating reality show where singles must become couples to leave a remote island called ‘Hell Island’. Since its first season in 2021, it has become a representative show of Netflix, heating up viewers around the world every year.

Season 1 made a remarkable entry into the global TOP 10 TV shows (non-English) category immediately after its release, being the first Korean entertainment program to do so. Season 2 also maintained its position in the same category for four consecutive weeks, recording a total viewing time of 65.08 million hours. Season 3, with its groundbreaking rules and unexpected relationships, generated a heated response, dominating the global TOP 10 TV shows (non-English) category for five weeks and appearing in the TOP 10 lists of 31 countries. Each season has produced stars like Song Ji-a, Cha Hyun-seung, Dex (Kim Jin-young), Shin Seul-ki, Lee Kwan-hee, Yoon Ha-jung, and Choi Hye-sun, driving a syndrome-level popularity.

Producer Kim Jae-won expressed, “I am grateful to be able to welcome the fourth season. I am very thankful to the viewers who continue to support us every time a new season comes out,” adding, “Now that we’ve reached season 4, I aim to survive until season 10 and become the longest-running dating program in Korea.”

As attention focuses on the new season, the released teaser poster heightens expectations for unpredictable and high-stakes romantic reality. The teaser trailer, also released, raises dopamine levels significantly. Behind the narration, “Love is a brutal survival,” the participants’ fierce competition for tickets to paradise hints at even more intense couple matching.

With bold skinship and thrilling flirting to win love, the participants’ honest conversations, which do not hide their emotions, along with the phrase “Love is stimulating dopamine,” invite viewers to immerse themselves in the ‘hottest hell in the world’ once again.

In this season of ‘Solo Hell’, Hell Island and Paradise Island are set to shake up love and conflict.

Producer Kim Jae-won, who described it as “the hottest season ever,” stated, “Especially the nights on Paradise Island were very intense. You will feel how honest, bold, and unpretentious the season 4 participants are. Thanks to that, I believe this season has evolved to a new level as a dating program. Please look forward to it.”
