26-year veteran ‘R&B Prince’ Hwanhee is rising as the Cinderella of the trot world. If there was Lin in the female category of ‘Current King of Masked Singer’, Hwanhee was in the male category.
On the stage of MBN's entertainment program ‘Current King of Masked Singer 2’, which premiered on the 26th of last month, Hwanhee revealed his reason for participating, saying, “My mother said, ‘My son’s songs are impossible to sing along to.’ So, I wanted to challenge myself to sing for my mother before she gets older.”
On this day, Hwanhee, who performed Kang Seung-mo's ‘Mujeong Blues’, received 33 votes and was awarded the ‘All-In Award’. Hwanhee earned the honor of MVP in the third episode of ‘Current King of Masked Singer 2’, which aired on the 10th.
Hwanhee's trot, which he had never showcased before, drew cheers as soon as it was revealed. With his well-recognized vocal ability, unique tone, and heartfelt emotional expression, he naturally incorporated the unique techniques of trot, presenting a stage that even current trot stars had to acknowledge.

As he steps into the trot world, Hwanhee is showing a presence worthy of his name, and attention is focused on what kind of stage he will present.
