Ahn Eun-jin from ‘Silent Sky’ shared her thoughts on returning to the theater stage after 7 years.
On the afternoon of the 9th, a press conference for the play ‘Silent Sky’ was held at the National Theater of Korea's Myeongdong Arts Theater in Seoul. Director Kim Min-jung and actors Ahn Eun-jin, Hong Seo-young, Park Ji-a, Jo Seung-yeon, and Jeong Hwan attended.
‘Silent Sky’ is a work written by American author Lauren Gunderson, depicting the tumultuous life and achievements of the genius female astronomer Henrietta Leavitt. Based on the ‘Leavitt Law’, Edwin Hubble proved in 1929 that the universe is expanding, establishing Leavitt as a genius astronomer who laid the groundwork for the discovery of cosmic expansion, which was recognized posthumously.
Ahn Eun-jin returns to the theater stage after 7 years, taking on the role of Henrietta Leavitt. Ahn Eun-jin stated, “While filming dramas and movies, I had been thinking about wanting to stand on stage again. In the meantime, I received a great script and waited for this moment. Everyone practiced hard, and we brought the play to life with anticipation. I am living each day with excitement meeting the audience.”
‘Silent Sky’ will be performed at the National Theater of Korea's Myeongdong Arts Theater until the 28th.
