Actress Lee Sang-hee has become the recipient of the Best Supporting Actress award at this year's Blue Dragon Film Awards.

On the evening of the 29th at 8:30 PM, Lee Sang-hee received the honor of Best Supporting Actress at the '45th Blue Dragon Film Awards' held at KBS Hall in Yeouido, Yeongdeungpo-gu, Seoul. The Blue Dragon Film Awards, now in its 45th year, is the most prestigious awards ceremony in South Korea, where filmmakers and fans come together to celebrate the achievements of Korean cinema over the past year.

Lee Sang-hee left a deep impression by vividly portraying 'Seon-joo', a character of Korean-Chinese descent, in the film 'Rogiwan'. She effectively captured the complex aspects of Seon-joo, who, despite being human, is forced to make harsh choices due to her environment, adding a high level of persuasion to the character. With her rough exterior, coarse gestures, and a tone that seems indifferent yet warm, she built the character of Seon-joo with delicate expressiveness, proving once again that she is an actress without limits.

Following her win for Best Supporting Actress in the film category at the 60th Baeksang Arts Awards, Lee Sang-hee has achieved consecutive victories by claiming the Best Supporting Actress trophy at the Blue Dragon Film Awards. Overflowing with joy upon receiving the award, she stated, “Fortunately, I have never once wanted to quit acting. I am madly in love with acting to this day,” and added, “I want to continue this love affair in the future,” sharing her heartfelt and witty thoughts.

Meanwhile, Lee Sang-hee is set to meet viewers through the new SBS Friday-Saturday drama 'My Perfect Secretary', which will premiere on January 3, 2025.
