The group UNIS has proven its unyielding global popularity.
UNIS (Jin Hyun-joo, Nana, Jelly Danga, Kotoko, Bang Yoon-ha, Alicia, Oh Yoon-ah, Lim Seo-won) won the K-World Dream Female Group Popularity Award at the '2025 K-WORLD DREAM AWARDS' held on the 21st.
Last year, UNIS achieved a total of two awards, including the Female Group Popularity Award, at the '2024 K-WORLD DREAM AWARDS'. This year, they secured the Female Group Popularity Award again, embracing the trophy for two consecutive years. What is most impressive is that they proudly took first place among many competitive senior and junior artists.
Unfortunately, UNIS could not attend the awards ceremony in person, but they expressed their gratitude through a video. The members said, “We remember receiving the Female Group Popularity Award at the 'K-WORLD DREAM AWARDS' last year. Although we couldn't attend in person this year, we are so happy and honored to receive such a meaningful award once again.”
They continued, “This is all thanks to our strong EverAfter (official fan club name) who are always with us. We will become UNIS that meets the expectations of our fans with even more wonderful appearances in the future,” and expressed their affection for fans, saying, “Please continue to watch and support our activities as you have been.”
UNIS successfully transformed its image once again with the release of their second mini-album 'SWICY' in April. They showcased a confident and intense charm with their debut song 'SUPERWOMAN' and the title track of their first single album 'You Don't Know'.
With 'SWICY', they presented a bright and cute charm. The members' unique cheerful image and the lively, bouncy melody harmonized perfectly, hitting the taste of global fans. UNIS dominated global music charts with 'SWICY', and the various promotions held to celebrate the release garnered attention, showcasing even greater potential in their second year since debut.
Currently, UNIS is continuously expanding its global fandom. They held their first '2025 UNIS FANCON ASIA TOUR' after their debut in June and are touring across Asia. This fan concert, which kicked off in Korea, has successfully completed performances in Tokyo and Osaka, Japan, and Manila, Philippines.
On the 23rd, they will visit Shanghai for the first time since their debut. UNIS will hold a fan meeting in Shanghai, creating special memories with local fans.
