The nationwide tour concert ‘Mr. Trot 3’ in Jeonju has successfully concluded.
On the 28th at 1 PM and 6 PM, and on the 29th at 1 PM, a total of three performances of the ‘Mr. Trot 3’ nationwide tour concert were held at the Moak Hall of the Korean Sound Culture Center in Jeonju, North Jeolla Province.
With the addition of Nam Seung-min, the ‘Mr. Trot 3’ TOP7 (Kim Yong-bin, Son Bin-a, Cheon Rok-dam, Chun Gil, Choi Jae-myung, Nam Seung-min, and Choo Hyuk-jin) showcased a rich stage and interacted with the audience in Jeonju.

After a VCR video introducing the TOP7, the seven members appeared and opened the performance with the songs ‘Sanae’ and ‘Nesting’. A video depicting the birth process of Jin Sun-mi was replayed, and Kim Yong-bin, who secured the final position, took the stage to passionately sing ‘Aein’ on the first day and ‘Yeonin’ on the second day.
Kim Yong-bin, who kicked off the solo stage, expressed his gratitude, saying, “I started singing at a very young age, and now I have been in the industry for 22 years, but I have never been this happy. It’s all thanks to you all.”
Following him, Son Bin-a, who took the second position, sang ‘The Last Leaf’ and expressed her heartfelt thanks to the audience for attending the Jeonju concert, receiving a big round of applause.
Cheon Rok-dam, who closed the stage with ‘The Light of My Beloved’, said, “Starting from Seoul and now reaching Jeonju, I have been singing about love and romance across the country, and I am truly happy. The performance was completed thanks to you all,” before leaving the stage.
Chun Gil sang ‘The Road to Find My Beloved’, Choo Hyuk-jin performed ‘Amyeon’ and ‘Being Alone’, Choi Jae-myung sang ‘I Only Loved You’, and Nam Seung-min passionately sang ‘Why Cry’. The strongest ‘Avengers’ team (Son Bin-a, Kim Yong-bin, Chun Gil, Choo Hyuk-jin) heated up the audience with ‘Love in a Dream’ accompanied by synchronized dance moves. The performances continued with Choo Hyuk-jin’s fast-paced trot song ‘Jeonggeo-jang’, Nam Seung-min’s ‘Mangbuseok’, and Chun Gil’s ‘Unforgettable Love’.
The stage featuring special guests Nam Goong-jin and the piano-playing ‘Trotman’ Chris Young was also heated.
Nam Goong-jin evoked nostalgia by singing the late Kim Kwang-seok’s ‘A Story of a Couple in Their 60s’, while Chris Young created a unified atmosphere with the song ‘The World is a Kaleidoscope’, which was a competition song in a one-on-one death match.
The TOP7 returned to the stage to deliver an exciting performance with a medley of songs ‘Really’, ‘Passion’, and ‘Chalrang Chalrang’.
In a conversation with the audience, Son Bin-a remarked, “The energy of the Jeonju audience is unprecedented,” to which Chun Gil responded, “It’s already been three months since we started the Mr. Trot 3 tour across the country.”
As Jeonju is known as the ‘Home of Sound’, there was also a brief session where the members learned Pansori from Choi Jae-myung, who is a prodigy in traditional Korean music. Each TOP7 member showcased a verse of Pansori with their powerful voices, receiving enthusiastic cheers from the audience.
Meanwhile, the ‘Mr. Trot 3’ nationwide tour concert is set to continue with performances in Gangneung, Daejeon, Suwon, Bucheon, Pohang, and Goyang.
