Aespa's Winter revealed the behind-the-scenes of her audition for SM Entertainment.
On the 1st, Winter appeared on the YouTube channel ‘Theo’ in ‘Salon Drip 2’.
On that day, Winter recalled that she auditioned for SM Entertainment three times, saying, "When I first went to audition, the staff took my brother. I thought, 'Was it because of me that he came?' and 'Was it this easy?'
She continued, "So my brother auditioned too, but I sang better than him. In fact, I was also rejected at that time," revealing her first rejection.
Winter explained, "At first, I was cast at a dance festival, but later I went to Seoul to audition properly. I got rejected then went to Busan for a global audition, but I got rejected again. I thought, 'Maybe SM isn't for me,' and auditioned for other companies. But they all wanted to see me again."
She added, "Still, I was in contact with the person who cast me at SM. I said I was going to another company, but they said, 'Let's see you one last time.' So I auditioned again, and that’s when I passed," revealing the story behind her acceptance.
