"Every time I touch my sports hair, it's shocking. I get emotional again."
DJ Soda candidly shared the serious hair damage and its aftermath caused by a bleaching treatment.
In a YouTube video released on the 26th by 'Giwoo Teacher', DJ Soda calmly recounted the situation when her hair was cut about 3-6mm and her feelings afterward.
She confessed, "I've been blonde for 10 years, but this is the first time my hair has been cut this much. It was strange that a lemon color came out after just three bleaches; I think it was due to the long treatment time."
In the video, DJ Soda said, "I cried almost every day for two weeks," and added, "I only found out later that the steam bleaching was done for two hours." Giwoo Teacher expressed concern, saying, "This is not just simple damage; it feels like it broke right from the first treatment." Some sections were cut so short that she considered using a 'half wig' due to the serious damage.
In particular, DJ Soda said, "I've never had a sports cut before. Every time I look in the mirror, I feel like I'm hiding a bald head," revealing the wounds hidden behind her joking words. She shared that her self-esteem has collapsed and she has experienced social anxiety, but added, "Nevertheless, I regain my strength thanks to the support of fans around the world."
The bleaching incident, which started as a mistake, left scars beyond just superficial appearance damage, but DJ Soda showed her cheerful courage by honestly sharing the process.
