Actress Yoon Seo-ah is joining 'The Tyrant's Chef'.
The new tvN drama 'The Tyrant's Chef' (directed by Jang Tae-yu / written by fGRD / planned by Studio Dragon / produced by Film Greeda, Jung Universe) is based on a popular web novel and depicts a fantasy survival romance where a time-traveling French chef meets the worst tyrant and a gourmet of his time, spanning over 500 years.
In the drama, Yoon Seo-ah plays the role of Gyeong-geum, an apprentice palace maid in the Suragan. Gyeong-geum is a character with a keen sense of smell, able to find necessary ingredients just by scent, and is also a versatile character with excellent situational judgment and sharp observation skills.

Gyeong-geum, captivated by the cooking of Yeon Ji-young (played by Lim Yoona), trusts her more than anyone else and embarks on a journey to survive in the unfamiliar land of Joseon. As the story unfolds, she will face various crises and will emerge as a strong supporter of Ji-young and a key part of the growth narrative.
Yoon Seo-ah has previously appeared in dramas such as 'True Beauty', 'Nevertheless,' and 'Lady Oksun', showcasing her ability to portray characters across various genres. Having steadily built her acting skills by transitioning between historical and modern dramas, she is expected to demonstrate a deeper range of acting in this project.
Meanwhile, tvN's 'The Tyrant's Chef', featuring Yoon Seo-ah, is set to premiere in the second half of 2025.
