“Filmed really realistically.” Choo Sung-hoon returns with a ‘meal value survival story’ where he eats as much as he works.
The ENA·EBS co-produced entertainment show ‘Choo Sung-hoon’s Meal Value Must Be Earned’ will premiere on July 26 at 7:50 PM, and the production team has released local posters and behind-the-scenes cuts from China. The program aims to be a ‘real survival entertainment’ that challenges extreme jobs around the world and eats according to the work done.
In the poster, Choo Sung-hoon, Kwak Jun-bin, and Lee Eun-ji stand side by side holding large shovels. They will take on roles as ‘team leader’, ‘accountant’, and ‘search manager’, respectively, and will be deployed to local workplaces in China. Their rough yet somehow endearing expressions convey the weight of their sweat.

Choo Sung-hoon stated, “Thanks to my fitness from exercising, lifting heavy objects was fine,” and shared, “I had new experiences through various part-time jobs.” He added, “Eating and sleeping with the money I actually earned made it much more vivid,” emphasizing the reality of the show.

He mentioned, “All the street food was delicious,” hinting at a meal experience that is different from typical eating shows, with a sense of presence. In fact, this broadcast will feature a ‘mission meal’ where they must choose local restaurants based on what they earn.
‘Choo Sung-hoon’s Meal Value Must Be Earned’ is a real survival entertainment show that will air on Saturday, July 26, at 7:50 PM on ENA and EBS.
