Shin Ji (44), the main vocalist of the mixed group Koyote, has announced her marriage. Her fiancé is singer Moon Won (37, real name Park Sang-moon), and they plan to hold their wedding in Seoul in the first half of 2026.
Shin Ji's agency, J Star, stated on the 23rd, “Shin Ji and Moon Won are tying the knot. The two have developed their relationship from a long-standing friendship into a romantic one, and they recently decided to get married.” The couple also conducted a wedding photoshoot on the same day.
Shin Ji and Moon Won's connection began in the past on MBC's Standard FM radio show 'Single Bungle Show'. It is known that they first met through the broadcast when DJ Shin Ji was hosting and Moon Won appeared as a guest.
Ahead of their wedding, the couple will also release a duet. The song 'Shallakadoola', set to be released on the 26th, captures the sweet feelings between lovers, and the recently released poster exudes a couple's mood that has caught attention.
Shin Ji debuted with Koyote in 1998 and has established herself as the main vocalist of the nation's mixed group with numerous hit songs such as 'Pure Love', 'Heartbreak', 'Dreaming', and 'Blue'. Recently, she became the second member to join the ranks of married women after team leader Kim Jong-min married a businesswoman 11 years his junior.
Fiancé Moon Won debuted in 2012 with the digital single 'Let's Live Together'. He gained attention for his impressive performance in the 2013 JTBC 'Hidden Singer Season 1' episode featuring Yoon Min-soo.
During the broadcast, he drew attention with his muscular physique and candid remarks, humorously stating, “I want to get chin surgery with the prize money.”
