In the broadcast of MBN's 'Current King of Singers 2' on the 25th, the final rankings reflecting the results of the on-site judging, public support votes, and real-time text voting scores from the first round were announced, with Park Seo-jin in 1st place, Jin Hae-sung in 2nd, and Enok in 3rd. Following them, Shin Seung-tae, Kim Jun-soo, Choi Soo-ho, and Kang Moon-kyung made it to the TOP 7.
Above all, the real-time public text voting determined the winner. The total number of real-time text votes that flooded in during the live broadcast reached 2,434,804, which is more than 160,000 votes higher than 'Current King of Singers' Season 1.
Park Seo-jin received 396,359 votes out of this, achieving a total score of 4,574 points and winning the championship. The final episode recorded a peak viewership rating of 15.1% and a nationwide rating of 13.9% (according to Nielsen Korea).
Starting at 8%, 'Current King of Singers 2' has broken records every week, maintaining the number one spot in the same time slot across terrestrial, comprehensive, and cable channels for 12 consecutive weeks. The show's popularity was also high. According to Good Data Corporation, it ranked first in non-drama TV search responses for four consecutive weeks and dominated the popular keyword rankings for eight consecutive weeks. The 'New Song Mission' audio from the final round charted on various music charts, and the stage videos of the TOP 10 surpassed a total of 70 million views on MBN and CREA Studio's official YouTube channel.
'Current King of Singers 2' will meet viewers again with the 'Current King of Singers 2 Gala Show' and the '2025 Korea-Japan King of Singers Competition.'
