The group ENHYPEN will present a new single in Japan next month, marking their first release in about two years.
ENHYPEN (Jungwon, Heeseung, Jay, Jake, Sunghoon, Sunwoo, Niki) announced on the morning of the 13th via their official SNS that their fourth Japanese single ‘宵 -YOI-’ will be released on July 29. The logo trailer for ‘宵 -YOI-’ was also revealed, creating an enchanting atmosphere with the sound of a heartbeat echoing in a starry night sky, raising expectations for the new song.
‘宵 -YOI-’ will include a total of three tracks expressing desire and instinct towards a loved one. After the single's release, ENHYPEN will hold a showcase on July 31 to meet with local fans and create special memories.
ENHYPEN's popularity in Japan is already formidable. Their recently released mini album ‘DESIRE: UNLEASH’ has swept major music charts in Japan. This album topped Billboard Japan's latest ‘Top Album Sales’ (as of June 11, counting period June 2-8), ‘Hot Albums’, and ‘Download Albums’. Based on their achievement of three crowns on Billboard Japan, ENHYPEN ranked 2nd on the ‘Artist 100’ chart.
ENHYPEN's album power has also shone in Japan's Oricon charts. They achieved a triple crown on the latest ‘Weekly Combined Album Ranking’ (as of June 16, counting period June 2-8), ‘Weekly Album Ranking’, and ‘Weekly Digital Album Ranking’ with ‘DESIRE: UNLEASH’. Notably, they set a new personal best record (points and sales) in both the ‘Weekly Combined Album Ranking’ and ‘Weekly Album Ranking’, proving their explosive growth.
ENHYPEN is also set to enter large stadiums in Japan. They will hold the ‘ENHYPEN WORLD TOUR ‘WALK THE LINE’ IN JAPAN -SUMMER EDITION-’ at Tokyo's Ajinomoto Stadium on July 5-6 and Osaka's Yanmar Stadium Nagai on August 2-3, continuing their hot momentum. They are the fastest overseas artists to enter Japanese stadiums after debuting (in just 4 years and 7 months).
