Cube Entertainment's rookie boy group NOWADAYS is starting a new chapter as 'NOWZ'.
On the 2nd, Cube Entertainment officially announced on their social media that they are changing the team name from NOWADAYS to 'NOWZ' by releasing a motion logo for NOWZ.
As NOWZ embarks on a rebranding and name change just one year after their debut, they aim to re-establish the group's identity and present new possibilities, signaling their rise as a leading group.
NOWZ combines 'NOW', which signifies the present moment, with 'Z', symbolizing expanded possibilities and new beginnings. The members Hyun-bin, Yoon, Yeon-woo, Jin-hyuk, and Si-yoon will showcase their unique colors with music and concepts that break existing formulas.
NOWZ debuted on April 2 last year with their first single 'NOWADAYS' and has since released digital singles such as 'Rainy day (비가 오는 날엔 (2024 Remake ver.))', second single 'NOWHERE (노웨어)', and digital single 'Let's get it', showcasing their youthful ambition and diverse charm.
NOWZ established themselves as a leading rookie by winning the IS Rookie Award at the '2024 Korea Grand Music Awards' and the Blooming Star Award at the '32nd Hanteo Music Awards 2024'. They were also selected as the main act for the 'Golden Choice', a stage for promising rookies, at the '39th Golden Disc Awards', demonstrating explosive potential. Recently, they received the 'ASEA Hot Trend' award at 'ASEA 2025'.
