Park Yoon-jae from 'The Queen's House' shared his thoughts on taking on a villainous character.
On the morning of the 28th, an online press conference for KBS2's new daily drama 'The Queen's House' was held, attended by director Hong Eun-mi, actors Ham Eun-jung, Seo Jun-young, Park Yoon-jae, Lee Ga-ryeong, Lee Bo-hee, Lee Sang-sook, Kang Kyung-heon, Kang Sung-min, and Cha Min-ji.
On this day, Park Yoon-jae expressed his unique determination by saying, "I’m prepared for back-smashing," which drew laughter.
In the drama, Park Yoon-jae plays Hwang Gi-chan, the director of the YL Group's strategic planning team and the husband of Kang Jae-in (played by Ham Eun-jung). Lee Ga-ryeong portrays Kang Se-ri, a character driven by twisted desires towards her friend Jae-in, leading to a tragic downfall.
Regarding this, he said, "I hope Hwang Gi-chan is not loved by the viewers. That way, the drama will be loved. If people hate him a lot, I’ll be satisfied with that," he laughed.
'The Queen's House' (directed by Hong Seok-goo and Hong Eun-mi / written by Kim Min-joo / produced by Flying Entertainment and Ascendio) is a revenge drama about a woman who believed she had a perfect life but has everything taken away from her.
